What does Tenarize charge me to collect rent?

Nothing beyond your subscription. Stripe bills you its own Bacs processing fee directly, and Tenarize takes no cut of the rent.

Tenarize does not take a percentage of rent. Your subscription is the whole of what you pay Tenarize.

Because the charge is created on your own Stripe account, Stripe bills you its Bacs Direct Debit fee directly, the same way it would any other merchant. That fee comes out on Stripe's side, not through Tenarize, and it appears on your own Stripe statement.

Not legal advice

These answers describe how Tenarize works and summarise the law in England as the product implements it. They are not legal advice about your situation, and the law changes. For free independent help, Citizens Advice and Shelter both cover renting in England; for anything unusual or contested, take advice from a solicitor.

Tenarize does not currently support Scotland, Wales or Northern Ireland, whose tenancy regimes are different.
