Can I sign in with Google?

Continue with Google is on the landlord sign-in page. It does one of two things depending on the address Google gives us:

• We already have an account for that address — you're signed straight in, and Google is linked to it from then on. Your existing password is left alone and keeps working, so you can use either.
• We don't — you're asked to accept the terms and choose whether you want marketing emails, and then the account is created. That step isn't skippable: agreeing to Google's terms isn't agreeing to ours.

If you sign up this way you have no password at all, which is deliberate rather than a gap. If you later want one — or just prefer signing in that way — use Forgot your password? on the sign-in page and we'll email you a link to set one. Google keeps working afterwards.

Two-factor authentication still applies. If you've turned on an authenticator app or email codes, Google sign-in asks for the second factor just as a password sign-in does — otherwise a new way in would quietly weaken a protection you chose.

Worth knowing: Tenant accounts don't use Google. A tenant login only exists once a landlord has invited that specific email address, so there's nothing for a Google sign-in to match against. Tenants sign in with the email and password they set when they accepted their invite.
