Will I be told if something changes on my account?

Yes — password changes, resets, email address changes and two-factor changes all email you, and an email change also notifies the old address.

Every security-relevant change emails you: changing your password, completing a password reset, changing your login email address, and enabling or disabling two-factor authentication.

Worth knowing: A change of email address notifies the previous address, with the new one partially masked. That's the only mailbox whose owner might not be the person making the change.

Failed logins are rate-limited per account as well as per address — five wrong passwords locks the account for fifteen minutes, and says so rather than repeating a generic error.

Not legal advice

These answers describe how Tenarize works and summarise the law in England as the product implements it. They are not legal advice about your situation, and the law changes. For free independent help, Citizens Advice and Shelter both cover renting in England; for anything unusual or contested, take advice from a solicitor.

Tenarize does not currently support Scotland, Wales or Northern Ireland, whose tenancy regimes are different.
