Does Tenarize work in Scotland, Wales or Northern Ireland?
Not yet — Tenarize covers England only, and the app will refuse a property with a postcode it can identify as being outside England.
Tenarize is England-only. Scotland's Private Residential Tenancy regime, Wales's Renting Homes Act and Rent Smart Wales registration, and Northern Ireland's rules are genuinely different legal systems — the checklists, notice periods and tenancy agreement in Tenarize would be wrong for them, not merely incomplete.
Rather than let you record a property the compliance engine can't advise on, the app checks the address when you add or edit a property and rejects one it can identify as being outside England. Where Google's address data is available that check uses the country Google returns; otherwise it falls back to postcode areas that are unambiguously outside England.
Worth knowing: Border postcode areas that contain genuine English addresses are deliberately not blocked on the postcode check alone, so a real English property is never rejected by mistake.
