How do I add a property?
Use New property and pick the address from Google's suggestions, then set the type, bedrooms and furnishing status — furnishing drives your checklist.
- From Properties or the map, choose New property.
- Start typing the address. Picking a suggestion fills the address lines, postcode and map position for you, and tells Tenarize which country the property is in.
- Set the property type, number of bedrooms, and — importantly — the furnishing status.
- Add licensing details if the property needs an HMO or selective licence, and any notes.
Worth knowing: Furnishing status is required when you create a property because it decides whether the compliance checklist includes the Furniture and Furnishings (Fire) (Safety) Regulations 1988 item. Leaving it wrong quietly under-states a real legal duty.
