What is the map view for?
It plots your whole portfolio, plus the suppliers who cover each area, so you can see occupancy and coverage geographically instead of as a list.
The map is the landlord home screen. Every property is plotted with its occupancy and any compliance warnings, and your suppliers can be overlaid with the catchment areas they cover.
It's most useful when a portfolio is spread out — seeing at a glance which properties have no gas engineer covering them, or which cluster of flats is coming up for renewal at the same time, is hard to do from a table.
