My property is in the wrong place on the map. How do I move it?
Open the property, choose Edit property, and drag the pin onto the building — or press Find from address to look it up again.
Open the property, choose Edit property, and scroll to Location on the map. Drag the pin onto the right building, or click where it should go. You can also press Find from address to look the address up again, and Enlarge map if you need a closer look before deciding.
The label under the map tells you how much to trust the current position:
- Matched to the address — Tenarize found this specific address.
- Matched to the street only — the right road, but not the building on it.
- Centre of the postcode — a postcode covers around fifteen addresses, so this one is a starting point rather than an answer.
- Placed by you — you moved it, and nothing will move it again unless you ask.
Worth knowing: Properties added before September 2026 may sit on a default position rather than a real one — the old form didn't always look the address up when it was typed in by hand rather than picked from the suggestions. If that applies, the edit form says so and offers to find it.
