My tenant disagrees with the inventory report. What are my options?
Their query appears on the tenancy page, and you either dismiss it with a written response or edit the report and re-send it for signature.
A tenant reviewing a pending inventory report can raise a structured query rather than only being able to sign or decline. They can point it at the report generally or at one named room.
- Dismiss — you must write a response explaining why. The tenant is emailed it. The document is unchanged.
- Edit and re-send — this reopens the walkthrough, unlocks the room notes for editing, and revokes the outstanding signature request. When you finish it again, the PDF is regenerated and sent afresh to both of you, and the query is marked resolved with an optional note.
Worth knowing: A query can only be marked resolved as a side effect of actually re-sending a corrected report — there's no button to mark it resolved without having changed anything.
