My tenant declined the agreement, or has never signed it. How do I unstick the tenancy?
Use 'Revert to compliance' on the tenancy — it revokes the outstanding document and puts the tenancy back a stage so you can start again.
A tenancy parked at Awaiting tenant can't be deleted — deletion is only available at Vetting or after the tenancy has ended — so there's a dedicated way out.
Revert to compliance puts the tenancy back to the Compliance stage and revokes any open signature request. Re-completing the checklist advances it forward again naturally, at which point you can change the terms, invite a different tenant, or send a revised agreement.
