What is the tenancy audit trail?
An append-only log of what happened on a tenancy and when, exportable as a PDF you can take to a deposit adjudication or a tribunal.
Every action worth showing in a dispute is recorded against the tenancy: status changes, checklist completions, document uploads, changes to terms, deposit and notice details, agreement send/sign/decline/activate events, inventory sign-offs, rent and late-fee payment outcomes, auto-pay changes and deletion requests. Each entry records who did it — you, your tenant, the system, the e-signature provider or Stripe — and when.
Download audit trail on the tenancy page generates the PDF fresh each time. The same download is available for every past tenancy from the Audit trails section of the property page, so a property with renewals or several room lets lists each one separately with its date range.
