Can visits to my home go in my calendar?

When your landlord books a visit through Tenarize — the annual gas safety check, a repair you reported, or a routine inspection — and sets a time, you're emailed a calendar invite with the date, the arrival window, the address and who's coming. Most email apps show an Add to calendar button on it. The time also shows on the job in the Maintenance section of your tenancy page.

If the time changes you're sent an update to the same event, and if the visit is cancelled you're sent a cancellation that removes it. The invite comes from Tenarize, so replying to it, or pressing accept or decline, doesn't reach your landlord. If the time doesn't work for you, contact your landlord directly.

To have every visit appear on its own, go to Your account and press Get calendar link under Calendar, then add the link to Google Calendar, Apple Calendar or Outlook.

Worth knowing: The link is shown once and works without signing in, so keep it private. If you lose it or share it by mistake, make a new one — the old one stops working straight away. Some calendars, Google's especially, only check a link every few hours, so a visit booked for tomorrow may reach you by email first.
