What happens if my EPC is rated F or G?
Tenarize flags a 'letting may be unlawful' badge wherever that EPC appears — letting below the minimum E rating without an exemption breaches MEES.
Record the EPC rating alongside the certificate and Tenarize will flag an F or G rating with a warning badge everywhere that document appears.
Under the Minimum Energy Efficiency Standards, letting a property rated below E without a registered exemption is unlawful and can attract a fine. The badge is a prompt to either improve the rating or register an exemption — Tenarize doesn't decide which applies to you.
